Do not exceed the Use By date.
Suitable for freezing. Freeze on or before Use By date. Use within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly before cooking and consume on day of defrosting. Do not refreeze.Instructions
Oven: 160C / Fan 140C / Gas 3
4 hours
Allow joint to stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking and preheat the oven. Heat 1 tsp of oil in a casserole dish over a high heat. Add diced vegetables and soften. Place joint on top of the vegetables. Add stock, water or wine to cover 1/2 the joint. Bring to boil. Add liquid and place into the oven for 4 hours. Stock, water or wine may be topped up during cooking.
Rest for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with gravy.
